Support, assessment, and referrals for individuals ages 18 and older who are in crisis.

Services Available 24/7

Carey Counseling Center’s mobile crisis services provides support, assessment, and referrals when appropriate for individuals ages 18 and older in Benton, Carroll, Gibson, and Henry Counties who are in crisis. Crisis assessments can take place in person or by telemed when appropriate. Services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

Help is available for those who are experiencing:

  • Intense feelings of sadness, loneliness, depression, anxiety, or mood swings
  • Suicidal thoughts or the desire to self-harm
  • Homicidal thoughts, the desire to harm others, or thoughts that others are out to harm them
  • Hearing voices or seeing things that other people do not
  • Altered mental status, such as confusion or disorientation
  • Bizarre behaviors
  • Any other mental health crisis

988 Suicide & Crisis Hotline

The 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline (formerly known as the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline) provides free and confidential emotional support to people in suicidal crisis or emotional distress 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, across the United States. The Lifeline consists of a national network of over 200 local crisis centers, combining custom local care and resources with national standards and best practices. Carey Counseling Center is proud to be a part of this network.
